Conveniently located in Torrance, California (Los Angeles), we're freeway close for easy access. We're also recognized for our quality training taught by expert instructors and small class sizes (usually 6 to 12 students). We provide the latest real world training desired by today's IT professionals.

Each Student will be provided with the appropriate training materials related to their subject of learning. While in class each student is seated with a laptop, their workstation on which they will particpate in hands-on learning.

PC Skill Center - Policies & Procedures

Purchase Policy
PC Skill Center (PCSC) Education products and services must be used within twelve (12) months of the date of purchase. PCSC reserves the right to change course prices at any time. PCSC reserves the right to modify our schedule of courses at any time. All modifications that impact enrolled students will be communicated via phone and email. PCSC reserves the right to exclude class participants who, in our judgment, are disruptive to the class or who fail to make acceptable payment arrangements.

Prepayment
Full payment must be received at least ten (10) business days prior to your scheduled course date. If your company is responsible for your course fees, please make certain that your payment request is processed in advance so there will be no interruption in your course schedule. Students who have not met the prepayment requirement will not be admitted.

Please note that there are no exceptions to our prepayment, change or cancellation policies.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellation and Substitution Policy:
Any request to cancel a class must be submitted directly to PC Skill Center (PCSC):

Cancellation request must include the following information: Class Title, Class Start Date, Course Code, Student's Name, and Company Name.

Required Notice Period
Please notify the PC Skill Center as soon as you are aware that you must cancel a class. Your options will vary depending upon the amount of notice you provide.

No Notice - Failure to attend your course without prior notification will be considered a "no show" and the full course price will be forfeited.

1 - 10 Business Days Notice - If this request is received 1-10 business days before the start of the class:

    • Only a student substitution will be allowed. Substitutions are allowed as late as 3:00pm one business day before the start of class.
    • Approval from the Customer Manager is required. Refunds or reschedules are not permitted.

11+ Business Days Notice - If a cancellation request is received 11 or more business days before the start of class:

    • First Cancellation of the Class - The first time a student requests to cancel a specific class, the student may: (i) receive a full refund or (ii) reschedule the class.
    • Cancellation of a Rescheduled Class - If a student has previously cancelled a class and does so again, the student may only reschedule the class. Please provide future date with cancellation request.

If there are emergency circumstances that prevent a student from attending a class, appropriate documentation will be required before the start of the class.

Course Changes and Postponements
PCSC’s class schedules and pricing are subject to change without notice and reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class at any time. PCSC will make a reasonable effort to notify you in the event of a cancellation or rescheduling. Notwithstanding the above, PCSC shall not be responsible for any travel, lodging, or any other expenses in the event of a class cancellation or rescheduling.

PCSC believes that we offer the best possible training. If upon completion of the first day of Classroom training you are not satisfied with the course and wish to withdraw for this reason, (i) notify the instructor and (ii) return all course material. If course material is written on and is not in new condition, student will be charged $300.00. (iii) contact PCSC (as above) by the close of business the next day in order to apply the money to future training or to receive a refund. This guarantee will only apply if student completes the first full day of class and has signed the class roster.

Classroom Schedules

Daytime Sessions
If you are scheduled to attend a daytime session, we ask that you please check in by 8:30 a.m. on your first day. Thereafter, class sessions begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. There will be a 15-minute break each morning and afternoon, as well as a one-hour lunch break, usually at noon. Please plan to make and return any telephone calls during the scheduled breaks.

Students who have not checked in or otherwise notified PCSC by 9:30 a.m. will be deemed to have forfeited the right to attend that class, and PCSC reserves the right to reassign the available seat to another student.

Evening Sessions
If you are scheduled to attend evening sessions, please check in between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. on the evening of your first class. Thereafter, classes begin at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 10:00 p.m. There is one 15-minute break each evening; please plan to make or return any telephone calls during that time.

Students who have not checked in or otherwise notified PCSC by 7:00 p.m. will be deemed to have forfeited the right to attend that class, and PCSC reserves the right to reassign the available seat to another student.
